A technical, in-depth, 2-day hands-on workshop focused on deploying, securing, and optimizing Starburst Enterprise Platform (SEP) on Kubernetes, with scenario-based labs, real life troubleshooting and production guidelines. Designed for power users, administrators, implementation consultants, and technical architects, the course emphasizes troubleshooting, security, and data governance in AI-driven and modern data analytics environments.

Aim

To build the skills needed to confidently deploy, configure, maintain, and secure Starburst SEP on Kubernetes for modern analytics, with deep dives into authorization, authentication, data governance, and performance management using real-world client scenarios.

5. Implement and troubleshoot authorization with Ranger and SEP Built-in Access Control (BIAC).
6. Set up password file, LDAP, and LDAPS authentication for secure access.
7. Configure and use Starburst Cached Views for performance optimization.
8. Implement data domains and data products for governance.
9. Handle common troubleshooting and maintenance operations in production settings.
